ABOUT ME

I was born in Roseland, Indiana near South Bend and just steps away from the Michigan border.  I grew up just south of Indianapolis.  I've been in radio for over 20 years as an air personality and a broadcast engineer.

I studied radio broadcasting, programming, and engineering at the University of Indianapolis while working weeknights and weekends in Columbus, Indiana at White River Broadcasting.

While finishing up the work at UINDY, I took a few part-time gigs at Cumulus Media and Emmis Communications in Indianapolis.

I'm a trained tower climber, love to be out on the water, and am a member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers.  Before I moved out of Indiana, I was the Director of Engineering for WICR-FM/HD in Indianapolis and also served as the afternoon host and local host of All Things Considered for WFYI, WISU, WFCI, WNDY, and WBAA.  I also served as a contract engineer for several college radio stations in Indiana.

You can hear me on New Hampshire Public Radio weekday afternoons.  I'm also one of three rotating hosts on A Blast from the Past Radio which airs every Saturday night at 10 on WICR in Indianapolis.  I also donate one weekend a month as a news reader to This Way Out - a radio news program that airs on over 200 stations in the United States.

My love for 80's music and classic rock comes from my memories growing up in that decade and is a vital part of my shows.
